Why I’m Excited to Announce Unified Remediation for all Environments and Technologies

When Tomer, Yuval, and myself started Dazz, we recognized that remediation was broken. Customers of all sizes and industries — no matter their security maturity — were struggling to navigate through data to discover the most important issues, identify root causes, and understand who should fix them and how.

Initially, we built our remediation platform with cloud-native customers in mind, where remediation challenges were the most acute due to the complexity of the attack surface. During the past two years, we’ve been helping organizations of all sizes — from fast-growing startups to Fortune 500 companies — trace and fix security issues from “code to cloud” to dramatically improve their resiliency. We’ve helped them navigate the explosion of new detection tools and alerts from CI/CD and source code management platforms, Cloud Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP), AppSec solutions, Vulnerability assessment solutions, API security, Data security, and more.

In the last few months, some of these standalone detection vendors have announced “code to cloud remediation” features, validating the problem we identified at our company's inception. However, they fall short of what customers need in order to meaningfully and measurably remediate security risk. Instead of aggregating data and providing a single view of business risk, they provide basic remediation features with limited context. Many of them only address cloud security, and fail to take into consideration the reality that most customers operate in a complex hybrid cloud environment with on-premises security issues, as well as cloud, to resolve. This results in an even more fragmented process than before: the siloes remain, and the business is even more confused.

It’s also clear that most customers want the ability to choose best-in-breed detection tools, which means their remediation solution has to be capable of covering everything that they develop and run in all of their code, clouds, applications, and infrastructure.

Today, I’m proud to share the innovation we’ve built together with our customers and announce the latest release of our solution: The Dazz Unified Remediation Platform. An industry-first, the Dazz Unified Remediation Platform gives security teams the ability to remediate and mitigate risk across code, cloud, applications, and infrastructure resources.

It builds on our nine patent-pending technologies around root cause analysis, data correlation, automation, AI, and more; as well as years of experience in analyzing hundreds of millions of issues and optimizing the best way to fix them. This treasure trove of data uniquely informs our AI engine to accelerate remediation like no other platform on the market is capable of doing.

Additional capabilities include:

1. New integrations that widen the scope remediation operations across on-premise assets, as well as cloud assets, plus the ability to ingest greater context from API and Data Security solutions.

2. Automation rules that enable customers to trigger multiple actions when defined conditions are met, allowing for fast response, easier ticket creation, unified workflows across all tools, and more.

3. Custom dashboards that give customers the ability to build their own reporting for security governance and executive requirements.

4. AI-driven root cause analysis and remediation that use language learning models to easily identify and suggest the best fix for application vulnerabilities.

Our goal at Dazz remains steadfast: streamlining remediation into one simple process that transcends vendors, so our customers can swiftly fix issues across code, cloud, applications, and infrastructure.

I invite you to see the Dazz Unified Remediation Platform in action, and look forward to unifying your security tools, code, clouds, apps, infrastructure, and development environment for improved resiliency.

See Dazz for  yourself.
